As the basis for the Monitor XL security system, the XL Monitor Control Panel contains the complete user database, all system information and operates independently in non-volatile memory. The Prime base model supports 1,000 users, while the Enterprise model supports up to 4,000 users, or up to 64,000 with additional memory.

Each XL panel can be configured using either the Monitor XL LCD Keyboard module or the Director software. The LCD Keypad also functions as a complete configuration and diagnostic tool, allowing a technician to repair and configure the control panel without disconnecting the other modules.
Each XL panel includes 12 inputs and can be expanded to 256 by adding LCD keypads and expansion modules. As part of a 250-panel XL network system, the Software Director supports 64,000 inputs per database, adjustable using any of the 16 pre-configured or customizing 20 point formats. 16 diagnostic points enable system tests.

XL Monitor Door Controllers allow full access control functionality that is easily scalable and highly configurable. Each door controller provides complete control of both two- and four-door reader (Input / Output) applications. A local database of the standby user on each controller provides access to the designated personnel in case of a communication problem.
Supports Wiegand, Magnetic Stripe and Proximity readers.

Proximity readers combined with keyboard, compatible with leading smart card technologies. They adapt to specific needs, have the flexibility to improve the security system in an economical and viable way.

Models with Wiegand output are compatible with all control systems that use communications based on Wiegand data from 26 to 176 bits. This includes support for the CASI, InfoGraphics, EST, and iDenticard product lines.

They incorporate advanced electronics and circuitry and are sealed to ensure protection against environmental hazards. Powerful electronics for superior reading range with any technology, they also meet low consumption requirements and can be powered from 6 to 16 Vdc.
