These input/output expansion modules are designed for use with KMC BAC-5900 series controllers. Multiple CAN-5901s can be connected to a controller via a CAN bus. Each CAN-5901 supports up to eight universal inputs and eight universal outputs. For example, a BAC-5901 with four connected CAN-5901s could access up to (internal and external) 40 inputs and 40 outputs connected via terminal blocks.

AppStatThe BAC-4000 Series is an easily and efficiently thermostat to control fan coil units, rooftop units, or heat pump units. “AppStat” refers to a new series of BACnet communicating thermostats from KMC Controls, factory programmed.  Each model in the series combines a BACnet applications specific controller and sensor options into an attractive, space-mounted device.

The visual appeal of AppStat is accented by the overall design, a color LCD screen, and soft-touch buttons.  Through the screen and buttons, installers and users can completely configure the devices and access various menu options.

Various feature options are available for each of the included applications.  Such features include modulating versus on/off operation of associated components, such as valves and fans, as well as control for components such as economizers.  Sensor options, beyond standard temperature sensing, include humidity and motion/occupancy.

VEB-43 (formerly VEP-45) series, two-way and  VEB-46 (formerly VEP-436) series, three-way NPT, ball valves are designed for the control of hot or chilled water in HVAC applications. Valves range in size from 1/2 to 3 inches feature an optimizing insert, which reduces the Cv and characterizes the ball opening for equal percentage flow characteristics. These valves include a field-repairable blowout- proof stem and leak-proof shut-of. The reduced torque seals and O-rings eliminate the need for high torque actuators and actuators require only low torque of the MEP-4000 series valves for all sizes. The KMC system was designed on the basis of a flexible architecture, for which is easily adaptable to any kind of building. The basic architecture is formed by multiple programmable controllers and a Work Station, consisting of one standard PC with the KMC software, where the operator is able to monitor and control any point of the system in a tabular as in a graphical way. There is no need of informatics knowledge by the operator, because the operation of the terminal is very friendly, just to know the building would be enough.

This software offers Internet based services to manage one building automation system for small, medium and great ventures. The TotalControl is a flexible solution with multiple possibilities to develop the features that the automation system may require, independently from the systems’ complexity.

Integral control processes in many industries, level measurement sensors fall into two main types. Sensors measuring point level is used to mark a height of a liquid in a certain preset level . Continuous level sensors are more sophisticated and can track the level of an entire system.
